Alain Shema, Visiting Fellow

Alain Shema has a PhD in Information Science/Studies from Syracuse University. He is a Founding Data Scientist at pave.dev. He has expertise in using machine learning techniques to improve the customers' and business experiences and using novel data sources to transform our understanding of social and economic realities, particularly in Africa. He created and taught "Applications of Machine Learning in Africa" course.
