The Kigali Collaborative Research Centre aims to be a leading research organization in Africa dedicated to establishing and facilitating high standard and diverse research and innovations.
Mission
KCRC is committed to promoting research and innovations in Africa. KCRC objectives are:
- Facilitate research collaboration among researchers, industry, public sector and non-governmental organizations
- Establish high-quality research environment following best practices
- Connect researchers to various research and funding networks locally and internationally
- Promote projects and innovative solutions through collaborative research
- Impact higher education through instructors and scholars training
Legal Basis
Kigali Collaborative Research Centre (“KCRC”) was established October 6th 2016 in accordance with Law No. 04/2012 of 12/02/2012 by the Rwanda Governance Board (RGB) Legal Personality Decision for a Non-Governmental Organization No 25/RGB/NGO/2016. KCRC is governed by the KCRC General Assembly in accordance with the KCRC Articles of Association and is subject to the laws of the Government of Rwanda.
